OVGU Quality development
Decisive for the development and establishment of a quality development system that meets the requirements of system accreditation are
- own guiding values for studies and teaching,
- political and accreditation-relevant guidelines,
- the development of study programs based on a closed quality cycle,
- the establishment of close cooperation between central and decentralized stakeholders and their further development
- the professionalization and standardization of existing structures and (communication) processes and
- the quality standards.
To this end, in addition to the mission statement and the guidelines for studying and teaching, OVGU has adopted the statutes for the assurance and development of quality in studying and teaching at OVGU as well as the quality criteria catalog. The faculties have also adopted implementation regulations that specify the university-wide regulations according to their subject culture. These documents transparently represent the relevant guidelines for ensuring and developing quality in teaching and learning for all members.
OVGU has been system-accredited with its quality development system since July 2019.
