Evaluation
Evaluation at the OVGU is essentially dedicated to the question of whether we guarantee the achievement of qualification goals in studies and teaching through the structure, process and results of our degree programs.
The phases of exploration and further development of the degree programs include a holistic evaluation concept, on the basis of which the respective development steps, degrees of target achievement, target failures, target conflicts as well as planned and unplanned result qualities are measured and which shows options for action for the subsequent phase of quality determination and the (re)definition of quality targets.
Evaluations are carried out at all levels and using both quantitative and qualitative methods
- OVGU
- Cross-university surveys (e.g. CHE ranking)
- Effectiveness review of the QES once every quality cycle by all participants with the support of external expertise (coordination by ZQB)
- Project completed: Student panel (study progress survey) by fokus:LEHRE
- Project completed: Alumni survey (participation in KOAB+, own survey by fokus:LEHRE)
- Study programs
- Study program talks and conferences
- Continuous monitoring of university statistics and course progression data
- Event-related curriculum evaluations
- Modules
- Event-related module evaluation
- Courses
- Regular decentralized surveys
The standards in teaching and learning provide the basis for the design of the evaluation concept and the effectiveness review.
