Quality dialogs
The quality dialogs Study Program Discussions (SGG) and Study Program Conferences (SGK) are at the heart of the QES at OVGU.
All those involved in the degree program continuously evaluate the degree program - explicitly not just once during the accreditation period - using the quality criteria catalog. Measures are also jointly derived and their implementation evaluated.
Study Program Discussions are held at least every two years; the focus here is on internal exchange within the course and current challenges, particularly those of an organizational nature. Students and lecturers discuss the status quo together in a small and informal setting.
Study Program Conferences take place at least once during the accreditation period with the participation of students and lecturers of the degree program, the person responsible for the degree program, external students, external university lecturers, professional representatives, alumni and the quality managers (ZQB, SQB, FQB, FSQB). These dialogs are primarily used to evaluate the degree of fulfillment of the subject-related quality criteria.
In the run-up to the Study Program Conference, the Quality Cycle Talk has been used as a mandatory tool since the end of 2024 to prepare the conference and the quality cycle report with the heads of degree programs and various quality managers.
