In the summer semester of 2015, the Senate convened the temporary working group “System Accreditation Task Force” under the leadership of the acting Vice-Rector for Studies and Teaching, which was tasked with proposing a concept for a quality development system (QES).

Based on the motivation and community of all colleagues, a fundamental exchange was first held on the various subject cultures, internal procedures and quality standards already practiced in the area of teaching and learning. With this common principle, procedures, instruments, roles and documents for quality assurance and development of the degree programs were discussed and designed. In the spirit of a constantly evolving cooperation and learning system, the key development statuses were regularly communicated and tested in the faculties. This enabled the faculties to test the structural and process components of the QES and to feed their experiences back into the System Accreditation Task Force.
