Information on 2025 summer semester's teaching evaluation
Your options in the evaluation procedure
Note: This does not concern the processes at FME and FWW.
In the summer semester 2025, only the courses of the FIN and FHW (incl. ZLB) will be evaluated automatically. You can find out when the next regular survey will take place in which faculty on our general overview page.
Lecturers who wish to have an evaluation beyond of the faculty evaluation period outlined above, please also report this on the evaluation form.
If you would like to make use of these options, or would like to notify corrections/additional registrations (e.g. of participants), please submit the completed evaluation form by 16.05.2025 for the evaluation in SoSe 2025.
All lecturers have the possibility to add scale or open-ended questions to the questionnaire. Please use the evaluation form for this purpose. There you will find, in addition to the faculty questionnaires, a small question library that you can use. Please feel free to contact us for advises on the selection or wording of questions.
If you would like to choose a different evaluation period, you can also indicate this on the form.
The evaluation will be carried out 2nd to 20th June 2025, if no other individual arrangements have been made. You will receive the results 1-2 weeks after the evaluation.

What do you as a lecturer have to do in the evaluation process?
Before the evaluation:
- If you have used the register-function ("Belegfunktion") in the LSF for your participants, please check as soon as possible but latest by 16.05.2025 whether the data is correct.
- If you have not used the registration of participants via LSF or if those data needs to be corrected; please send the data of the course (lecturer(s), name of the course and participants (email addresses) to evaluation@ovgu.de by 16.05.2025. Please use the excel-template for this purpose. We have also developed a brief instruction on how to export participant email addresses from Moodle courses.
- Alternatively, we can extract participant's data from your E-Learning course (moodle). To do so, we need you to check whether 1) the link to your E-Learning course is stored correctly in the LSF course, and 2) check whether the list of participants in your E-learning course is up to date (e.g., no participants from the prior year).
During the evaluation:
The surveys will be open in 2nd to 20th June 2025, please plan about 10-15min in one of your (synchronous) courses for the completion by the students, so the response rate can be increased. The surveys are designed in responsive web design and can be completed via mobile devices at any time. You can check the current response rate at any time in the elearning portal, and you will also be informed by e-mail about the current status.
After the evaluation:
If there is sufficient response according to the specifications in the implementation regulations of the faculties, the result reports will be sent to you within 1-2 weeks after the end of the evaluation. Following this, we recommend that you take the opportunity to discuss the results with the students.
If you receive feedback that addresses the study program as such (e.g. concerning the curriculum) or the faculty or university, please forward these findings to the responsible offices (person responsible for the study program; Dean of Studies; Vizerector for Studies and Teaching).
